Welcome! I’m Nii Ashikwei Tetteh, a passionate UrbanKiz and Brazilian Zouk instructor, choreographer, and community builder based in Washington, D.C. I lead DanceFlowHaven, a project dedicated to fostering an inclusive, vibrant dance community focused on connection, creativity, and personal growth through dance.

I have trained extensively with a diverse range of UrbanKiz and Brazilian Zouk artists across the U.S. and Europe through a mix of private lessons, intensive training programs, online courses, master classes, workshops, and regular classes.
• B.S. in Computer Science – Drexel University

💃 Teaching Philosophy
My teaching style is layered, engaging, and methodical — emphasizing strong foundations in technique, musicality, and creativity. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where dancers of all levels feel empowered to explore their own expression, connection, and joy on the dance floor. My classes blend fun, challenges, and community building, with a focus on both leads and follows mastering their roles.
